2013 Mt Darwin CFA Orphans Awareness Campaign Marathon
RUN YOUR CAMPAIGN IN MOUNT DARWIN !
 Now is the time to lace up those running shoes and start training! Following the success of 4 earlier editions in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, the 5th edition of the Mount Darwin CFA International Orphans Awareness Campaign Marathon & 1/2 Marathon is a unique event that combines running with a good cause.

The main objectives of the 2013 Mount Darwin CFA Orphan Awareness Campaign Marathon are as follows:
 1. To promote child care and protection within the community;
2. To raise funds to assist Orphans & Vulnerable Children (OVC’s) in Mt
Darwin through payment of school fees and purchase of educational
materials;
3. Promotion of sport;
4. To promote youth education through sport.

In 2009 the race attracted 270 athletes. In 2010 and 2011 this was even more. A report of 2012 is to follow soon. The goal for 2013 is to increase international participation again. We expect runners from neighboring countries as well as from The Netherlands, the UK and the USA.
